GoodSearch: You Search...We Give!

Kachina, a 2004 Laurens County Rescue, came to SCARE together with her pasture mates Charlie, Moonshine and Iltschi. She is a QH/TB X, and was terribly emaciated, when she came to us a week after Iltschi arrived at the farm. Kachina was 29 years old, when she came to us, which makes her close to 40 - but you wouldn't know it, if you saw her. She has no depth perception in one eye. When she arrived, her mane was
pulled out, she had a couple of huge saddle sores from being ridden in her skinny state. One deep scar is still visible. She also quickly bounced back, and when our little Shadow arrived, she fell in love with him - it was love at first sight for both of them (Shadow is 28 years her junior). The two lovebirds like to hang out together in the same stall and eat from the same hay feeder.  Kachina is the most gentle and laid back horse, who has "been there - done that", and nothing gets her excited, apart from "cookie" time.
