South Carolina Awareness and Rescue for Equines

Savanna: This 10 year old TB came into our program from a neglect case in October 2010. Savanna and her pasture mate were staked out in their owners yard to a piece of rebar with no food or water, When she came into the program she had three serious wounds down her spine. We feel that she likely rolled on the rebar, causing the wounds. The severity and placement of the remaining scar tissue makes Savanna a candidate for a pasture pal only, and will remain at our facility until that special person can be found.
